Keep calm and strobe

So if you have been following YouTube beauty gurus you might have seen Strobing videos everywhere. So what is Strobing. Strobing is nothing new. Strobing is a beauty trend that involves intense highlighting to give you a glowing goddess look. If you have a hard time contouring, if contouring isn't for you because your face is already structured or you just don't have time for it, then Strobing is for you!

I do love a good contour because I have a round face but contour should not be an everyday look. Strobing can be worn for every occasion and can be done by using products you most likely already have. If you have an Ipsy subscription then you were most likely sent a highlighter/eye shadow in the July 2015 glam bag.

Supplies for highlighting:
Highlighter(cream or powder)
Fan brush or highlighting brush

Steps:
1) apply the highlighter to the highest point of cheek bones in a back and forth motion
2) apply to tip of nose
3) apply to cupid's bow
4) apply to chin
5) apply to forhead
6) apply to brow bone
7) apply to inner eye

It's just that simple! for more information on Strobing check out my fave beauty gurus on YouTube!

Thrifty Thursdays: Shoe Haul

Like any girl, I love shoes and being that I am a college student, I am on a budget ,so its not wise to spend allot on shoes when it can go towards school supplies. So I feel in love with Dirt Cheap. I personally love Dirt Cheap more than thrift stores. And allot of the things from Dirt cheap comes from Target and I love Target.

The other week I stopped by dirt cheap and I had no intention on buying anything as usual but since I was in the market for flats I thought I should look at the shoes and to my surprise they had the cutest flats! I got two pairs of flats and a pair of heels (that I did not need but feel oh so in love with) for no more that $3 dollars each! I spent about $9 on shoes alone!

  • The black shoes are pointy toe flats with a snack skin texture by Sam and Libby. Sam and Libby shoes are sold in Target and DSW. @ Dirt Cheap for $2.50
  • The black and whites shoes are pointy toe pumps and have a snake texture by Isabella Rue. Isabella Rue is a Brand sold by Shoedazzle. @Dirt Cheap for $3.00
  • The brown ones are pointy toe flats with a leopard print and a suede texture by JustFab. You can only get Justfab shoes from Justfab.com. @Dirt Cheap for $3.00
If you want to know more about my shoe haul from dirt cheap, please feel free to comment.

Back to Blogging

So this is not my first blog. The first blog I had was LaLa'sworld and I started it in September of last year. I had fun blogging but since I'm in college and I started working two jobs it got hard to keep up with and also my style kept changing so I decided to just start over fresh and new with a new name and a new look. I do like blogging and I feel as if I can get better. I am going to try and concentrate on fashion and beauty because my last blog was a little bit of everything.

Thank you too all who have read my blog in the past
